Planet of the Apes

In 2011, The Planet of the Apes franchise was rebooted with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. The movie starring James Franco and John Lithgow spawned two sequels - Dawn and the concluision to the trilogy, War For The Planet of the Apes. Now Net Entertainment have launched a slot game based on the first two films - and it combines not one set of 5 reels, but two!

Planet Of The Apes Slot

Planet of the Apes slots is split into two 5 reel, 20 payline games. On the left side it's "Rise" whilst on the right it's "Dawn". Each side has 10, J, K, Q and A symbols but these are joined by ape and human characters from the movies. When you spin you play both reels at the same time.

Wagering is set using the coin value and level buttons at the bottom of the game. Choose from levels 1 to 10 and a coin size of 0.01 to £1. The minimum wager is 20p whilst the maximum is £200. Autoplay allows you to determine a number of spins to play without having to hit the spin button.

For the most part the two sides of the Planet of the Apes slots are independent. Occasionally they do become linked - for example a stacked wild on "Rise" will mirror on the corresponding reel on "Dawn". Sometimes a dual feature will randomly activate and symbols from one side will fill in spaces in the other - you may need to see this in action to fully get how it works.

Both sides have free spins features which are activated when 3 or more scatter symbols appear anywhere on the reels. 10 free spins are awarded with "Rise" whilst there's 15 for the "Dawn" side. Look out for clips from the movies when the bonus rounds start.

In addition both sides of the game have additional bonuses.

This is a remarkable game and one of the more interesting movie themed slots that we've seen. The two slots side by side offer something just that little bit different! You can play on mobile or tablet, but we think it looks best on desktop.
